Lack of fever during acute infections

For those with ME/CFS or LC: When you get acute infections, do you get fevers?

Chiming in here, my previous blood work in August showed low lymphocytes (5k, right on the low end of 5k to 10k) and low T cells and abnormally low NK cells. However past few weeks I have been boosting with peptides for a month now (thymosin alpha, thymalin). I had covid 2 weeks ago and got the highest fever of my life: 39.5.c. Previously when healthy (i only got sick in Jan 25) my fevers were never this high.

I am hoping it is a good sign my immune system is strengthening.
