They have a website now. https://www.pempod.com/about Have only listened to 1 episode of this (as a podcast, not on Youtube), the one called "Magical Thinking". Came across as a couple of level-headed pwME talking thoughtfully about difficult aspects of living with ME/chronic illness. Would happily recommend this episode to pwME feeling stuck in the stage of desperately chasing false hope from magical thinking, or struggling with pressure from the people around them to be seen to be actively trying all manner of nonsense https://www.pempod.com/podcast The podcast looks like a good fit for artistic pwME looking to connect and also feature some examples of their work, some nice ones here: https://www.pempod.com/art-photography https://www.pempod.com/poetry-music
Thanks @Ravn, the podcast sounds good. I'll have to check it out. I thought this poem from the poetry-music link described PEM so well. The Day After Nathalie Gravel (Poem) The day after a good day the hardest of days the light goes out silence returns you’re swallowed back into the darkness doors shut on every possibility imprisoned/shackled to your bed waiting waiting waiting for the day after the suffering ends and life begins again
I've only just gotten through the intro of this episode but when he jokingly introduced Oonagh as an "anti-recovery activist" I lol. I've watched a few of these episodes + some of the grief series episodes and think they're doing a nice job. The speakers I've listened to have been interesting and thoughtful.
