Just read the first paragraph I was under the impression that increases in life expectancy had not just stalled but had gone into reverse, and this started around 2012.
I'm under the impression that's only the UK, and that the main drag on that is the life expectancy of the plebs (i.e. us) is now dropping fast enough to outweigh the continued rise in life expectancy of the 'rest'. But that's okay, eventually we'll all die and then, then life expectancy will rise at an unprecedented rate, thus proving the policy of killing off the poor was the correct one for the health of the nation.
