ABOUT THIS ADVOCACY GUIDE

This advocacy guide has been developed for patient advocacy groups and based on the Book of Evidence (BoE) of the BMP initiative, which outlines some of the key challenges facing people with neurological disorders and chronic pain conditions. By providing key messages and highlighting tactics for engagement with MEPs and other EU policymakers, this toolkit is designed to help you raise awareness and promote change for the benefit of people living with these conditions, as well as their families, carers and society as a whole

Just read the first paragraph

As life expectancy increases across Europe, the prevalence and cost of these conditions are anticipated to grow.

I was under the impression that increases in life expectancy had not just stalled but had gone into reverse, and this started around 2012.

I'm under the impression that's only the UK, and that the main drag on that is the life expectancy of the plebs (i.e. us) is now dropping fast enough to outweigh the continued rise in life expectancy of the 'rest'.

But that's okay, eventually we'll all die and then, then life expectancy will rise at an unprecedented rate, thus proving the policy of killing off the poor was the correct one for the health of the nation.
