Many thanks @josepdelafuenteI've just donated, and I'm planning to spend a day sharing info about the trial on all my networks!
Once I've got over this nasty flu.
So lovely to see.Over £1000 in a day. Very nice work @Joan Crawford.
Great that you're willing to do some fundraising, @josepdelafuente! I was indeed mugging up on immunology but that's on pause. Meanwhile, though, I'd check what experts here on the forum say about that document - unless it's been checked by Fluge/Mella, I wouldn't necessarily trust the account of immunology there, any more than I'd trust a UK MEA account of it. But I take @Jonathan Edwards' word for this being a highly worthwhile trial.I've read through this attached Word document (available on the English-language version of the ME Fornet website ( https://www.me-foreningen.no/om-oss/stott-me-foreningen/me-fondet/english-me-fond/) ) a couple of times, and I've found it very encouraging!
I know nothing at all about Immunology, but reading this document has made me want to learn.
@Sasha do I remember correctly that you were learning / teaching yourself Immunology from somewhere online or a book somewhere?
This study really does seem (from their own Word document) like it could be a really good thing for us!
I'm definitely going to try to spread the word about it as much as I can, and put some of my energy into encouraging people to donate, and maybe finding a few rich people who are up for donating some big lump sums.
There are some resources for learning about the immune system here: https://www.s4me.info/threads/learning-about-the-immune-system.43381/@Sasha do I remember correctly that you were learning / teaching yourself Immunology from somewhere online or a book somewhere?
And already a third of the way to the new target! Nice workSo lovely to see.
I've upped my goal to £2000.
Thanks @hotblackAnd already a third of the way to the new target! Nice work![]()
I've had an absolutely brilliant response to my fundraiser. I have upped my goal to £3k and I am still receiving donations.Hello, I completed a similar fundraiser in 2016 raising funds for the Rituximab trial. Now that there is this promising clinical trial underway in Norway, it only seemed fitting for me to get on my bicycle again to raise awareness of the ResetME trial and fundraise.
Please do support me if you can. I'm aware many people with ME live with incredibly tight budgets so I am hoping you can support me by sharing on into your networks.
Information in the link below. It'll be updated in coming days as the ResetME team are redesigning their website and information into English.
Lots of love Joan x
