Norwegian Fluge & Mella daratumumab Haukeland trial 'ResetME' now accepting international donations

From their Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/61579371603061/

The ME Fund had a hope and a goal of reaching 4 million kroner in the account before the end of the year. Now we are missing 250,000 kroner before we reach the goal. We have adjusted the goal on our own crowdfunding page (which works much like Spleis), where you can follow the status continuously.

(Donations made directly to account and VIPPS do not appear here) The amount collected as of 31.10 is 3,758,000

NOK 250,000 is only £18.8k/USD 24.5k.

I lost track of the total amount. Back in September they were NOK 5.5m short? So now it's just NOK 1.75m and then the trial is fully funded or am I missing something?

There is a live tracker at the bottom of this page:

It has been a >3M NOK for a while, but I’ve not been sure how much of that (if any) has already been included in the ResetME budget so I have not mentioned it before.

In general, the communication has been quite muddled.

That's amazing Joan! That's about 49,000 Norwegian Krone, which is a big chunk of the remaining amount they need to raise (about 170,000 Krone), according to this page - https://innsamling360.no/innsamling/vis/195?&returnUrl=/Innsamling/
That is just one of multiple ongoing fundraisers, so the goal doesn’t necessarily match the trial’s current funding status.

But it’s correct that in general we’re getting quite close and every contribution helps!

It's confusing because isn't the full amount needed something like 26,000,000 NOK? Does raising this 4,000,000 complete the full amount?
The full amount needed is 26M NOK.

I’m still confused about how much is still needed, but I think it’s less than 5M NOK at the moment. Don’t quote me on that, though.

There are a few fundraisers active + the fund, so I’m not sure the study team even knows exactly how much they’ve got.

I hope it doesn’t matter and that they have enough already to do things as quickly as possible and still be confident they’ll have enough to finish it.
