Petition for ME Assoc. to leave CMRC

I think Charles has made it clear he won't leave.
Unless MEA members themselves vote or petition or just leave the MEA then it won't happen.

I wouldn't mind them staying if they actually publically called Esther Crawley out for her bogus work and slandering talk, but they don't, so it looks like the MEA support her.

Potentially would have been better on Change.org, which would have then accepted foreign signatures. The MEA were happy to accept foreign signatures on their petitions.

38 Degrees info on signing.
Unfortunately, at the moment 38 Degrees petitions can only take signatures from people based in the UK. This is because 38 Degrees is a UK-based campaigning organisation and in general 38 Degrees campaigns and petitions are directed at United Kingdom recipients; MPs, MEPs, national organisations, councils, UK arms of multinationals etc. This means that the people campaigning to these organisations need to be the people these organisations are accountable to – UK residents.

Petitions come, petitions go. I think the MEA would take more notice of members contacting them. They are a membership based organisation. It was a membership decision that Charles Shepherd stayed and Val Hockey left. He is very popular among members. Val Hockey didn't allow for that when she tried to squeeze CS out.

I'm glad Julia Newton left. It's important to be brave and say no to the bullshit.

I think she only resigned from the CMRC Board due to other work commitments. I suspect she's still a member of the Collaborative.
