Is there actually what helps to make it more bearable ? I’ve been dealing with tinnitus for a while and wanted to share something that helped even though it’s a small piece of the puzzle. I recently paid for a session of ear wax extraction nyc because I realised my ear canals were partially blocked and that might have been contributing to pressure and sound sensitivity. After the procedure, I noticed that the background rumble/tinnitus got slightly quieter (not gone, but less intrusive) which was encouraging. It doesn’t replace the other therapies discussed in this thread (like sound-therapy, counselling, devices etc) but if you haven’t checked for ear wax lately and your ENT/audiologist says your ears are “clear”, it might still be worth checking
