The Lincolnshire NHS Specialist ME/CFS service has created a series of videos. They are unlisted on YouTube.

I came across the video series via the Lancashire ME/CFS service's webpage. See the drop down boxes at the bottom of the page: https://www.lscft.nhs.uk/our-servic...ephalomyelitis-chronic-fatigue-syndrome-mecfs.

Always good to keep tabs on what they're telling people who might not know any better.

I only got through the first video before deciding that life was too short. What patronising twaddle, seems to be very much in the BACME camp.

The woman on the first video says that people coming to the service have to watch all the videos and be ready to discuss them in there followup appointment.

Note - the link above is to the Lancashire service, the Lincolnshire videos are under 'Video links'

The content for the Lincolnshire ME/CFS service page is very minimal, and surprisingly does not link through to the videos that the service made.

I guess it is too much to hope that there has been a change of direction in this service. The service requires referred patients to have had other diagnoses ruled out and it doesn't look as though there is any doctor or nurse involved, so, at best, it's a 'here's how to cope' service.

It would be good to know if anyone here has any recent experience of this service.
