A complete rescue of organ regeneration in mammals with limited regenerative capacity has not yet been achieved, primarily because of limited information on the linkage between the failure of regeneration and the genetic changes in the genome. So the way I see it “What makes a disease curable?” = our technology and current knowledge.

I don’t think there is any way to prove any disease is completely uncurable given the right advancements?
