I think everybody agrees with the fact that obesity rates would decrease if people ate more healthily. That is obvious. But major lifestyle changes are not easy for many complex reasons (if it were, there would be no problem anymore). Saying to obese people "just change your lifestyle" is akin...

Even though we're not in a position of power, I think the situation is no longer as dire as she describes. This was true two or three years ago, but less so now.
