Deadline has been extended again. New signature deadline is Wednesday, December 12
Folks in the USA, if you can, please contact your senators & representatives and ask them to sign.
The automated tool at this link makes it easy -...
Thank you!
The email I got had a deadline of Wednesday, Dec. 5th (just double checked because I could have messed up cut & paste). I guess the deadline has been changed, which is good!
I will update my initial post to show that Dec. 7th is the new deadline.
I got an alert via email a couple days ago requesting folks in the USA to contact their congressional representatives.
Signature deadline has been extended (again) to Wednesday, December 12

I believe you. And I would never try to invalidate your experience.
But there's a difference between the experience of any individual man or woman with ME, which is one kind of discussion, and the overall statistics for men vs. women (and nonbinary? gender fluid? - I don't want to leave anyone...
There's a snopes.com article that talks about the photo that @JaimeS posted: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/1930s-housewife-smile-therapy/
The article is long and kind hard for me to follow (brain not doing well today). From what I could tell it's not clear where the photo is from. But the...
Thanks so much for adding your experience, @MSEsperanza - I'm happy the ablation procedure worked for you! :)
I do think it is probably worth getting this device so I can finally capture an EKG. Then my cardiologist will be able to see what type of tachycardia it is.
My SVT tachycardia (as...
I don't know what's happened recently but my husband said this same thing (vets treat their patients so much better than human doctors) to me back in the early 1990s.
PS. this thread has some amazing info! thanks to all who have posted!
This is a good article. So much good information and so well written.
Sharing my tweet about it (it was hard to pick just one quote - may tweet again using another quote):

This post got pretty long so I separated it into questions and background.
Questions:
1. Do any forum members have a diagnosis of SVT (supraventricular tachycardia)?
2. Has anyone tried the Kardia mobile device/app (portable type of ekg)?
Background:
I don't know what kind of SVT I have...
Argh! Sorry to hear that :(
Obviously, some doctors just don't want to listen to patients. I've had quite a few of those. That's why I stick with my current primary care physician and cardiologist. I've been seeing those same two doctors since 1994 and 1995 respectively.
Great! Since...
I just wanted to add that I hope this is not seen as a duplicate thread.
There is already a thread discussing the continuing education credit here: https://www.s4me.info/threads/us-healthcare-providers-receive-cme-credit-for-watching-unrest-and-new-diagnosis-and-management-video.5880/
But I...
Here's a relatively easy advocacy action for patients in the USA: Ask your health care professional to watch Unrest online and get continuing education credit.
What I did was print out some flyers (found here https://www.meaction.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Doctor-flyer.pdf ) and then gave...
That's true for me. Or it was true, many years ago, when I tried massage a couple of times.
I learned pretty quickly that massage made me feel worse. So I stopped doing it.
As I recall my main symptoms were muscle aches along with the overall "flu-ish" feeling, not fatigue. But it has been a...
I don't know how @Esther12 found it but here's the advanced search link that I often use when I want to find something on twitter:
