Beautiful! This is the first time in 20 years i can actually use this in real life. Never had any friends before this passed year. Thanks for sharing this
These stories put the fear of God into me. People often ask why i lay there rotting away, neglected for years instead of being hospitalised and getting ‘help’
The above story is exactly why i chose to do just that, and probably the only reason i’m still alive today.
Scary stuff.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this @Squeezy i completely forgot about a 2 year wait when entering the country :banghead:
The UK benefits system is a form of torture on ill people. We forget how bad things are between interrogation times (or block it out of our minds to prevent benefit ptsd...
He’s feeling okay today so he’s gone home. He’s seeing his doc tomorrow to see how long he’ll be off work for.

I’m keeping him for one more day to see if the beta blockers kick in and then sending him home. He just spoke to work and they seem to be happy for him to have a month off... he’s over the moon... i’m thinking ‘oh hell no!’ Home time for you lol.
Lol you’re expert at it @Squeezy ;) Doesn’t make it any easier for you though, you deserve a medal.
Thank you @Invisible Woman :) i’ll grab one of those right about now if that’s okay :banghead: :ill:
Unfortunately i’m the only person who can keep an eye on him, his parents are dead which only leaves a bi-polar sister who lives in this area and she’s not very soothing to a dicky heart, only time she gets in contact is to ask for money. He didnt even tell her he was in hospital lol
He’s on Bisopolol @MeSci which i think is also given with high blood pressure. Which is odd as he has low blood pressure.
I’m sure i’ve already tried this exact drug in the past, the name is very familiar.
In the course of 4 days they’ve done absolutely sod all. Everything they did there, i could have done with all of my heart equipment etc. He’s had 4 paracetamol in 4 days. He’s leaving exactly as ill as he went in :banghead:
Think he’s starting the Beta Blockers tomorrow. Don’t have the guts to...
He’s coming out today now, getting a taxi over in an hour to pick him up.
I’ve been in two minds whether i could even visit him today at all all day, i feel like death :ill: that indecision has been decided for me now lol :dead: i wonder if i can check myself into his empty bed
Thank...
At the same time he text to tell me this, i’d just received a health mag in the post and opened it up on this page...
‘Help a Broken Heart’ ‘how the medical industry profits from unhealthy hearts’
Update:
He’s still in, no change. I’m going to try to get in tonight but will play it by ear, been 80% paralysed last couple of days :ill:
