@Arnie Pye - how about changing your title to read, 'UK: Sign this petition to save the NHS from being handed to multinational corporations' or somesuch, and putting the link to the petition right at the top?
The ICO is the Information Commissioner's Office: "The UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals."
QMUL must either now comply with the ICO's ruling or go to court to fight it, I think.
