When there's a Westminster Hall debate there's a specific live TV stream for that... Great thing is if you miss the start you can watch from the start. If you see what I mean! And it'll all be on Hansard the day after. :)
:scream: :wtf: :banghead: :bawling: :walkingdead :yuck: :ill:    :grumpy:     Thought we had a barf emoji, but obviously not. Hope expressed well enough with my little collection! ;)
What is wrong with these people? They call us crazy, but they...
Luckier than you in that I got sick in my mid forties, but after 25 years and now age 69 I don't expect to see changes for the better in my lifetime. :( I've been very lucky with my GPs though, for which I am very grateful. They have never refused to look into new symptoms. This is something...
This may not be the place for this, but an occupational psychologist I did a work placement with (had a particular interest in ME, Fibro and MCS amongst other things, though main focus was workplace stress) suggested I look at the work of Borg (no, not that Borg :borg: ;)) on perceived exertion...
Could the mental fatigue and physical fatigue be "measured" using separate questionnaires? Or does that make things over-complicated? The Chalder thing is a load of carp anyway, so why not make something better for both fatigue components. Oh, and when it comes to having problems with starting...
Your link to Sense about Science USA & the pace trial no longer works. I did a quick search on the site, and came up with this - you might want to take a look.

I haven't had time to read it yet, other...
Rather like those who take money from DWP via Atos (or whatever they call themselves these days) to screw patients, :arghh: and not just ME patients. Grrrr. :arghh:  :yuck:
Yes, that's the one. Deary was there too, he was there for a while before being chucked off. I think the computer that I had that stuff on was so long ago we probably chucked it out years ago. I'm not a great one for backing up even though more recently I have cloud back up capability that I...
It was the Yahoo email List set up by Colin Barton. From what I recall somebody was a bit critical of his ME Group, so he pulled the plug on the List and deleted all the archives in a fit of pique, with no warning.
I can't believe I'm "liking" all this stuff! Time for a "hate" button methinks. ;) Though appreciate the information of course, so I guess that's why I Like it. :cautious: Makes me feel like tearing my hair out and screaming and weeping though! :arghh:  :bawling:
And their carers. Husband cut his hours for the last few (maybe 4?) years of his working life to look after me, so paid less tax. Of course employer saved there, as he got less pension from them.
I'm so glad this wasn't in place when I went to the Walk in Clinic at St Thomas' Hospital with abdominal pain and constipation! They'd have sent me straight to MUS services without finding out I have diverticulosis, and at the time diverticulitis with sky high CRP which they gave me a course of...
Preferably before they reach retirement age so they can be SACKED and have to fight their way through the convoluted UK benefits system! :emoji_imp: :emoji_japanese_goblin: :emoji_japanese_ogre: :emoji_smiling_imp: :emoji_rage:
Plus sued as well for telling porkie pies about sick people...
Hmm, I think maybe where you were made a difference. I started my secondary education at a brand new grammar school in Stanmore (now part of Greater London I think) with fantastic labs and enthusiastic science teachers. After 2 years there I was really keen on science. Then my parents moved to...
Interesting the forum stats! Might I make a suggestion? Certainly when I was at secondary school back in the 60s not many girls went in for science. Things have gradually been improving, maybe from the 80s(?) but now seem to be un-improving again. So my guess would be that some...
