    Hydrocortisone - good or bad?

ACTH test for my daughter found a good response, but low base hormone levels. I don't have a copy to know how low (done under endocrinologist), but GP has said it was low but not overly low. I have requested a copy of results. My initial feeling was that if ATP and magnesium are low, then this...

Fatigue syndromes. Wessely and Powell 1989

I do wonder about the combination of questionnaire design and his involvement with GWS. Squaddies were assessed for psychiatric impact by a questionnaire - in true squaddie fashion this was widely discussed and compared. No doubt many submissions were similar , with a " group" response...

Dr Myhill’s complaint to GMC about PACE authors.

Yes, and i believe one of the centres was in Edinburgh ( the only one in Scotland). The same one that successfully boosted wheelchair sales.

Dr Myhill’s complaint to GMC about PACE authors.

Working on it. She is doing quite well asking questions re NHS in its current state . PACE got acknowledgement/ file is open but don' t expect me to rock boat without substantial new evidence line. Health matters go to Scottish Parliament if they affect constituents. MSP deals with these

Dr Myhill’s complaint to GMC about PACE authors.

SNP will tend not to involve themselves in UK government for issues that are devolved to Scottish government- health is one of these. NICE guidelines and recommendations tend to get adopted, but not wholesale.

My MP is SNP, a surgeon, was on health committee, but won' t follow up concerns re PACE/ GET etc as health is a devolved issue :banghead:

S4ME: Submission to the public review on common data elements for ME/CFS: Problems with the Chalder Fatigue Questionnaire

Shame the objective/ subjective wasn' t researched as well as in acoustics. Thought i was going a bit mad, as i was taught the relationship between sound ( amplitude) and distance. There is a relationship ( phew! Brain still there at times- i did acoustics a long time ago) Sound power is...

OMF/Ron Davis Research Update December 2017

How does fructose get processed- from memory it' s dealt differently in the liver from other sugars and that may explain the effect. Fruit is packaged naturally with fibre to slow down its digestion. Whacking your liver with neat fructose may be more than it can deal with, particularly if there...
