Hooray! Hooray! Brilliant, another year, thanks to everyone who was able to contribute. And of course to Dave for sticking with us for another year!

I can bring the 'cheese' dip (some assembly may be required) if someone else brings something people will actually eat/drink ;)

    It's low fat and everything.

I was initially worried that we wouldn't make it but we did!

It is clear that the community has decided that if we have to hire our own investigative journalist to deal with the CBT/GET ideological brigades, we will.

I'm being very gentle when I use the term "CBT/GET ideological brigades" with a nod to Tuller. I really want to say: the psychobabble mafia, the CBT/GET fraud cartel, or something similarly unkind. The sum of the harm they've done over the last 25 years is incalculable.

You are indeed using gentle terms Strategist. I can't even think of terms that would do them justice. The harm done is incalculable and they continue to perpetuate it with clear intent and determination. That they continue to do this and that the media don't look under the rocks astonishes me . But I believe that there is a reckoning up ahead for them . And what a day that will be. Today I'm delighted that David Tuller's fund goal has been reached and its been done from beds and couches and homes where people have been imprisoned for years without help, compassion or medical care. Im really grateful to all those from everywhere, David's relatives,, Mady Horning and everyone who was so generous to the fund.. Thankfully we have David on this job for this year.

You are not the only one to use this term. Sir Mark Baker at the NICE Scoping meeting last year, in answer to my questions about dark forces lurking in the background, said to me, "Oh you mean the ME mafia......!"

Surely Berkeley should have some sort of accolade /award to those academics on their books or worthy causes who bring esteem and glory to them.. DT tops the list again out of the current 19 active projects, again and again!
