@Grigor after having watched the whole documentary; it's way better than Hollywood productions.

It's real. I'm grateful for all of you.
Your documentary should become obligatory to watch for everyone working in healthcare.

I meet doctors that did not have ME. They still psychologize ME/CFS and judge and dismiss me as a patient or worse.
Trust me I'm a doctor? Hell no.

If you click on 'more' under the video on youtube then scroll down you will see
'transcript'. If you then click it on, it comes up in the right hand corner of the screen.
I was going to try and cut and paste it here but each post here will only allow 20000 chars and it's a lot more than that.
    Possibly 5 or 6 posts?
maybe someone else could have a go.

Thanks. I have now watched the whole film with the subtities. I think it's fantastic, so well produced, @Grigor, you are a truly inspirational film maker.

Thanks Trish and glad you got to see the whole thing. Obviously they don't say much that we don't know, but it's still quite healing to hear and see them say it out loud. Hopefully it will reach the right people.

Thank you. Very kind. Actually we had a Professor of General Practice and Head of General Practice Research Erasmus University Marco Blanker on LinkedIn. He wrote the following and send the film to several other medical schools.

    https://www.linkedin.com/posts/marc...d&rcm=ACoAAARREA8BzeyJJtciMwOrM0dNqu0SjEBHFxM

"A compelling documentary about doctors who have been struck down by post-infectious disease. They provide insight into what it means for their - until then active - lives and paint an honest picture of what they themselves knew about these conditions when they were not yet ill: little to nothing. Just like many colleagues now.

I think it would already be helpful if this documentary were shown in the medical curriculum, general practitioner training and training for medical specialists. My advice: watch, be silent, let it sink in. And then get back to work in a different way. Not directly with the solution to this problem, but with more proximity.

Misunderstood diseases should not translate into a lack of understanding of the situation in which patients with such diseases find themselves.

Thanks to Anil van der Zee for making and sharing. And thanks to Gitte Boumeester, Jolien Plantinga, Peter Hulshof, Mark Vink and Laura de Vries, PhD for sharing their experiences."

Seen it yesterday. Was happy that one patient mentioned having an MRI scan that proved they had brain inflammation.

You could copy and paste the whole transcript into a plain text file, then upload that to the forum as an attachment.

Have now watched the film. It's a superb piece of work, and very moving—thank you, @Grigor, for all your work on it, and thank you to everyone involved.

Let's hope things really do get better for us all.

As I said before. I'm planning to post the transcript on my website, but my brain needs to recover first. Of course you can post it here if need be.
