International Survey on Coronavirus
An international team of researchers from ten different institutions, including Harvard, Cambridge, and Warwick University, among others is collecting survey data on how citizens prepare and cope with the spreading coronavirus. So far there has been no assessment of how individuals perceive the situation and behave in response to it.

The corona virus continues to spread across the world. So far there has been no assessment of how individuals perceive the situation and behave in response to it. The current scientific survey aims to provide a better understanding of how people in your country experience the crisis caused by the coronavirus. In addition to questions regarding your personal behaviours and perceptions of the novel coronavirus, the study also assesses socio-demographic aspects and general characteristics.

The study takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and is conducted as a joint collaboration effort by an international team of researchers. The resulting data may offer important insights to fight the coronavirus. The data will only be used for research, and not for commercial purposes. Your responses will remain strictly anonymous.

I have just done the survey. I think it's worth doing. As well as basic demographic info about your country, age, health status, it asks questions about what you think of your country's handling of the crisis and what you think they should do - all in easy multiple choice questions.

I think it would be good to get a strong showing of people who don't think their country is doing enough.

I received a survey from the Office for National Statistics yesterday, which I've just completed. They send them out fairly regularly, but this one was different in that the majority of the questions were about the epidemic.

Most of it was 'no change' for me; I've cancelled one visit to family because there's a vulnerable elderly person in the household, but that's literally the only thing I've had to do differently thus far. I'm an incurable optimist, but even I paused for thought at the stark reminder about how limited our lives are!
