People are entitled to follow whoever they want on twitter, either temporarily or permanently. Not sure this really warrants analysis.

I’m on there not as NP and not keen on having an active presence. Only went on FB so I can post in our local closed group.

Glad to see there is someone more curmudgeonly than me today. ;)

That's ok, we know the feeling. I have plenty of curmudgeonly days and I get very prickly with the long suffering people around me.

Hope it passes and you feel better soon.

More than likely. Ms Kelland should focus more on mental health issues, I understand that is her speciality.

Twitter: the word means bird sounds or meaningless chatter. A person who twitters is called a twit. In practice, Twitter is a forum for emotional outbursts and gossip.

The ancients, who had not yet educated themselves to be fools, thought gossip to be a hazard so great that they inscribed a prohibition against it on stone tablets, which they considered holy word.
Those ancients didn’t know much about technology, they knew a whole darn lot about personality.

Another way to put it; Twitter is a minefield where the mines are marked by interesting sites or sounds meant to draw you closer.
