The second Pillow Writers Anthology is now available on Amazon. All proceeds go to #MEAction.

Description from the Amazon page:

Near-Life Experiences: The Pillow Writers Anthology is a literary journal by an international community of writers. These writers are living with the chronic complex illnesses myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and long COVID.

Most of the twenty-eight authors in this issue are unable to work, and many are housebound or bedridden. They represent the millions living with ME/CFS and long COVID who are our neighbors, family and former coworkers. This anthology is a rare opportunity to witness the poetry, fiction and essays from this invisible community of talented writers. They explore resilience and measuring life in a new way.

Also in this issue are two essays by family members who describe their experience of living with someone with chronic illness.

All proceeds from the sale of this book go directly to #MEAction, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advocacy and outreach for people living with ME/CFS and long COVID. We thank you for your support.

There will be an online reading of work done by the pillow writers group on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Join #MEAction for our exciting Pillow Writers’ Salon on Thursday, September 18th at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm UK.

This live Salon will feature readings by the authors of both comic and serious, stories, essays and poems, that were created for the weekly virtual, Pillow Writers meetings and in the Near- Life Experiences: The Pillow Writers Anthology, Issue 2.

This Salon is open to everyone, you do not need to be a writer yourself. You will have the opportunity to listen to the enlivening writings and then participate in an animated discussion with the presenters.

This Salon will be about an hour and 30 minutes long, so feel free to join for any amount of time you are able to.

#MEAction is once again thrilled for the opportunity to gather as a community as we celebrate the amazing and profound creatives within our #MEAction family.
