The American reporter Ed Yong, who has recently written a number of well received articles on ME and Long Covid, has written a Twitter thread "about the ethos behind these pieces, and how I’ve approached interviewing, writing, and the rest of it.".

I thought the thread itself was full of great examples on how to, in particular, interview and otherwise interact with chronically ill patients and so deserved a thread here.
