Donations currently at just over £9,000 of their £25,000 target. I have made this my Christmas donation. I hope others who can afford to give will do so too. And don't forget, if you're a UK taxpayer, they can claim another 25% to add to what you donate.
I've donated too, but only a small amount as I have some debt accumulated during my period when I was trying to support myself. Now on my pension! (Much better) Unfortunately not healthwise...
The total that has come in is I think around £11,000. Jack is hoping to get it up to £15,000. Not far off!
Latest Facebook post from the Biobank team - they will be closing their appeal on Sunday 14th, currently it stands at £9,563 on their JustGiving page, so if you have any pennies left after Xmas please think of donating. Code: https://www.facebook.com/mecfsbiobank/posts/1637218846325552
Thanks. I mentioned this to a couple of people for Christmas donations, but didn't mention any deadline, so will raise it again.
Now up to £9,873 - 5 days left to donate to the appeal. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ukmecfsbiobank
Appeal is being closed tomorrow. Wow, thank you to "Helen Oliver" whoever you are for donating £1000 (+£250 gift aid). Now at £11,678. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ukmecfsbiobank
Donated £20! Wish I had the money to donate more. Looked at the donation summary below (very bottom of the page), and it seems that we have raised: £11,957.05 + £1,141.25 Gift Aid = £13,098.30 https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ukmecfsbiobank That's almost £14,000 of the £15,000 target!
Wish I wasn't brassic A shame it came at christmas when money is tighter than usual or I could have given a second time. Still, there'll be other fundraising drives and we can donate at any time
