: TV casting call for people living with ME/CFS

I don't think it's a terrestrial channel at all. In the casting call, it says 'for a major streamer'—so possibly Netflix, Amazon, Apple, etc. It could also be one of the smaller ones that focus on particular types of output.

(I say that is if I know who they are, which is a bit rich considering I don't really watch anything except cricket!)

I can see it being apple or discovery+ maybe. Sky is kind of a streamer now too.

I have forwarded my two polite, informative emails that I sent to producer Janet Chute on Tuesday and Thursday to the Head of Television at Electric Robin.

Hopefully they will take notice and pull back from the idea of including pwME in this series and consider working with a more medically appropriate patient group.

We recognise that our initial outreach for runners with non-visible disabilities has caused some offence. For this, we would like to apologise as it was never our intention.

The series we are producing is an exploration into greater inclusion in sports, and with it the barriers faced by people living with disabilities. The editorial is still in its early planning phase and no decisions have been made in regard to the final content or health conditions featured. The ongoing outreach is a means of helping us arrive at an informed editorial approach and we will ensure all advice is taken onboard.
