This is just awesome! I feel privileged to make this experience, to listen to Mr Montoya. Thank you, @Andy and @Ron, and many thanks to Mr. Montoya for answering our questions and for giving hope. I so much wish I could somehow get 25Mio. dollars :)

Hi @Andy, could you add the option "add subtitles" in this and future S4ME Youtube videos? As video "owner" you can add this option on Youtube that enables others to add subtitles (that will still be approved by you).

Yep, I'll do that in a short while. Thanks in advance for the German subtitling :)

Started working on the German subtitles, but have a lot of other stuff to write and translate at the moment, as I volunteer for four ME groups. It would be amazing if others could join me, it's possible to work on Youtube subtitles as a group effort. I just finished translating Ron Davis last video update and that was only half or third as long as this but took me two weeks, so it would be great to do it together (I hope this is the right link - does that work?): https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_e...=watch&ui=hd&ref=wt&tab=captions&captions-r=1 And please feel free to edit my translation and the timing, just a rough first version.

A great addition to S4ME. Thanks @Andy for your sterling efforts and Dr Montana for talking with us. What a lovely man. Passionate about science, empathic about what this disease does to patients and very clear about the response needed from Government.

I am thinking this phrase is really a metaphor for our S4ME community fighting spirit!

Hi @Andy , congratulations for the first vídeo and thanks to Dr Montoya,
    Can I add Portuguese subtitles?
I have a youtube channel in portuguese, dedicated to ME/CFS and it would be very good to share your vídeo with subtitles.

    Thanks :)

Additional subtitles would be great. As you've probably seen further up in this thread I have enabled community contributions on the video, so subtitles can be added that way. I have to admit I don't, at the moment, know how that works, but @Joh does, and I'm sure she'd try to answer any questions you might have. I will read up on it though, when I can find the time.. :)

Yes. Google mail accounts count for this, if you have one.

Happy to answer any question on subtitling (if I can :)). The only thing I haven't found out yet is if and how it's possible to download the automatic generated subtitles in automatic generated timeframes and just edit those. That would be so, so much faster and easier, than to type every line and define the timing of every timeframe manually. If anyone knows, please shoot me a message!

I do little translations directly in Youtube. But I can really recommend the free software "Amara" for subtitling (it can also be used for Youtube videos). We're using it for Unrest. It flags up when you have too many letters per time frame (one subtitle unit) or per line and if the timeframe isn't shown long enough and is great for group efforts.

@Andy, could you let me know when you've published the German subtitles? I would like to spread the video to the German forums and on social media afterwards. Thank you!
