What's a term like 'green-washing' for the rehabilitation approach to ME/CFS and similar diseases?

Well washing, makes me think of using well water for actual cleaning.

But then my village decidedly doesn’t have a well dressing tradition, though the oldest continuous well dressing is just a mile or so across the fields, and I am currently involved in collating information on my village’s wells and springs, most of which were used in living memory. Mains water did not arrive until the 1950s.

'Well-washing' did make me think first of miracle water. I googled and sure enough, there are miracle wells. Which sort of also fits with what the rehabilitationists are promising.

While looking for something else today, I came across Trish's word - "wellness babble"
'Wellness-washing' might work, without some of the ambiguity of just 'well-washing'.

In my opinion, it's all part of the gaslighting, we all know what they really mean by real, and it's anything but real when it comes to Deteriorative Exertion Intolerance.

of course we do, but that doesnt stop people with psych disorders getting hurt, neither does it mean we should fall into the BPS traps when we know they are there

In the same vein that pseudoscience is commonly perceived I’d suggest something like; pseudorehab, pseudotherapy, pseudocare or pseudocure.
Other word combinations with “sham” could be considered.

This isn't a suggestion for the actual word - but I have a word I use to describe general vague superficial health / self-help babble which I quite like - 'Wellbeingfullness'

Found this article when looking psychwashing:

Psychwashing: When Employers Use "Well-Being" To Hide Workplace Business As Usual

Corporations are racing to adopt the language of the mental health movement. But is this anything more than a veil to cover up the deeper problems within the modern workplace?

Betteridge's Law of Headlines says no.

That really is all it is. Just another performative sham to further exploit human beings.
