Special Report - Online activists are silencing us, scientists say Reuters March 2019

MS caught lying. (I do not necessarily agree with Leonid Schneider's tactic, but I think, as a non-patient, he has more leeway than any of us would)

Rod Liddle in the Times: "Always fatigued — yet they never tire of claiming their malady really is a virus"

Roy Liddle does not deserve that we spend one second of our time to read his heinous writings. This guy is a bully and an abuser. That he is still offered a tribune in the media is a shame (I do not think it is particuliar to the UK, we've got exactly the same problem in France).

Special Report - Online activists are silencing us, scientists say Reuters March 2019

Just quietly propagating the idea that ME patients do not want to get cured. These people have really, really not an inch of ethics at all. If they had, they wouldn't spread clichés that are detrimental to patients. A few years ago, in France, a schizophrenic patient killed two nurses in a...

ME debate in Danish Parliament March 12 (2019)

Per Fink's payback. Whatever you think ME is (biogical or funkional), PF's behaviour toward Karina Hansen has been nothing but abusive. He bragged about being able to cure her in less than 6 months, detained her 2 (or 3) years and she returned at her parents' in a worst state than she entered...

As a reminder, Kate Kelland wrote an article about the Cochrane review (as one-sided as this one) (S4ME thread there), which did not generate that many articles. I agree with others that we should be careful to not publisize this one too much...

I guess these are the worst abuse they could find. When you compare that to real online harrassment (I don't know for other countries, but in France, many people have been on the receiving end of death and rape threats, insults...), well... these are not pleasant messages, but calling this abuse...
