I am currently taking omeprazole to prevent gastric issues while taking indometacin.
I have wondered if cimetidine could be substituted. @Woolie 's dose is high however.
I have not noticed any benefits for ME from omeprazole at my level of 20 mg once daily nor any side effects.
Very glad you have made an improvement @Woolie but lacking in understanding why this drug ( Zantac? )should have this effect.
I am in UK so have no access to biological treatments. I saw Dr Bansal yesterday but had no focus for my appt so did not make best use of the time.

What about AfME? I seem to remember a problem last year or have I misremembered this? Can anyone amplify? Clare Ogden?
MEA, IIME and 25% group have signed.
Imo, but this may not be everyone's view, it is most important to get across the idea of justice and ME. Donations and science follow and can amplify the basic message which needs to be succinct and clear. Everyone has a perception of what justice means and probably ME.
I think Sharpe was stung...
" patients with ME are demanding justice"
Peter Tatchell, who irritated Sharpe so much, began his tweet with the above words. Think justice and ME are very good words to have together. Gets to the essence of our case, helps reverse the vexatious patients narrative.
#JusticeforME.
ED: or...
Of the last suggestions, I prefer #JusticeforME. I think it's important to get ME into it.
I stand with Science is not specific enough imo. Everyone could support it without it being obvious that ME is the issue.

Have a recollection of past discussions over the road. Didn't Prof Pinching work in the West Country, and wasn't he " a good guy"? Really am foggy so hope I've remembered this correctly.
The Medical Advisor prior to Dr Purdie was Dr Alastair Miller but he didn't join till 2010, a year before PACE was published.
Some information about him below including comments are interesting.

Soooooo.....glad @Graham.
I liked maths at school and maths teachers. No doubt given more of a chance, I would learn to understand your humour. I quite like weirdness. Not that you have ever seemed weird to me.
Am sorry if I have caused confusion. I meant to support MeMarge as the second representative of S4ME. Terminology supposed to be slightly amusing. Obviously it missed its aim.
Just to be clear- I join with @Graham and@arewenearlythereyet in supporting MeMarge as S4ME representative.
Before I got to the wheelchair stage, I used to carry a light stool hooked over my shoulder, and when I had to stop and stand which was harder than walking, I used to sit on it.
In New York, I even sat at the kerbside as I waited for traffic lights to change. I never knew I was breaking the...
