You are forgetting that people with ME rarely do anything until absolutely necessary. Before that there are other priorities.

I will probably donate again if it seems necessary. I think (some) others will too.

It would be good if news of the matching grant could be put somewhere more prominent on the forum.

What does the term "through this Friday" mean?

Does that mean all day Friday, or from now to Friday or from Friday onwards ?

Sorry, genuinely not familiar with this idiom :)

To me it would mean, if anybody ever said it to me which no one has, Friday, as Thursday isn't Friday, nor is any other day, only Friday can be 'through this Friday'.

But, given expressions often don't mean what they say It probably means something else

My assumption in this case is that it means until the end of this coming Friday.

    That, and this:
Had me watching and waiting for the right time to blow the dust off my wallet.
Reckon I'll make my donation on Thursday.

Hopefully there'll be another matching pledge then. :)

Do we have a figure for what the total was just before the matching grant was announced, so we can see if the $5K is anywhere near?

Err, David reports in his Facebook post, in my post immediately above yours, that there is $900 of matching funds left, so I'd say it's pretty close.

$5000 is 5.26%. So we're still going to be about 19% short of the goal.

Donations close on 30th April, which is next Tuesday, so there's still time for people like me who are saving a second donation for if it's needed.
