Esther Crawley talk at TEDxBristol, Thurs 2nd Bristol - "Disrupting Your View Of ME"

So you're all been shadowbanned.

They don't have the honesty to delete the comments.

I have ethical questions about shadowbanning people with limited energy to write comments, along with trying to trick people with cognitive dysfunctions.

It completely ignores the difference between shadowbanning people who are trying to interact with good faith, and those with bad faith (spammers, trolls etc.)

Screenshot your comments for later use as evidence I say. :emoji_fist:

Does this mean the University is the organiser of these TedX talks? I thought it was an independent group. That makes it even worse, as it gives an 'official' approval to the choice of speakers.
The only talks I can see on there so far are from 2015 and 2016.

It could be TEDx Bristol and TEDx Bristol University are totally different events, or they could be linked in some way? No idea.

TEDx Bristol adopting this 'Dare to Disrupt' slogan while trying to hide critical comments on social media is so embarrassing. What must the people doing this think of themselves?

From our point of view, it's best to keep our criticism cautious and restrained imo, but they seem to be doing all they can to tempt people into mockery and disdain!

Professor Esther Crawley took the opportunity to speak at the event about how to disrupt our views of ME and the tough choices that many pioneers of medical research have to make.

Huh? Did I miss something? Since when is Mrs Crawley in medical research? Isn't she doing psychology stuff? (Just had a look at her CV - she actually has no psychological background there. Very confusing!)

One minute we talk too much and "harrass" them the next minute we dont have a voice and need them to speak for us, I wish they would make up their mind.
Why should they make up their mind when they can have everything? Just interpret words as needed...as "experts" their interpretation mirrors always reality. No proofs needed.
