NICE guideline on ME/CFS: diagnosis and management: draft scope consultation period and lay member recruitment period

Communication just received from NICE

Please be advised that the draft scope consultation period for this NICE guideline will now run for an additional week (5 weeks in total). This means that the scope consultation period will start on 21 June 2018 and run until 5pm on 26 July 2018. We hope that your organisation will submit comments on the draft scope; it is a valuable opportunity to ensure that the guideline considers issues important to your members.

The lay member recruitment period will run in accordance with our scope consultation period, from 21 June 2018 to 26 July 2018. Please note that the recruitment period for the professional member committee positions will run for four weeks, from 21 June to 19 July.

You will be able to find all information on how to apply for any of our committee positions on our Committee recruitment page on our website from the 21 June 2018. Please circulate this link to any colleagues or networks you think may be interested.

Not sure if this is good or bad. It could give the BPS crowd time to spin more crap after hearing what they need to defend themselves over.
