UK: Petition: Specify ME/CFS on the list of neurological conditions under group 6 for UK Covid19 vaccine

I appear to be in the German equivalent of group 6. To my surprise recently I received a letter with vouchers for 12 free masks, the letter was from the German government saying they had been informed by my health insurance company that I'm at risk and therefore entitled to free masks. I didn't apply for them, and the only thing I've been to the doctor for in the last 7 years was to get my ME diagnosis 6 years ago, I've been hiding and not interacting with the health system since.

I'm wondering whether this means I'll be bumped up the queue for the jab.

This is what is in the MEA fact sheet

“M.E. is classified by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a neurological disease. The WHO classification is recognised by the Department of
Health, the Medical Research Council and NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).”

perhaps this is misleading?

well, it seems ME is listed here

https://www.england.nhs.uk/ourwork/...ur-work-on-long-term-conditions/neurological/
There are over 600 types of neurological conditions, which are broadly categorised into:
  • Sudden onset conditions (e.g. acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury)
  • Intermittent and unpredictable conditions (e.g. epilepsy, ME, certain types of headache, or the early stages of multiple sclerosis)
  • Progressive conditions (e.g. motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease, or later stages of multiple sclerosis)
  • Stable neurological conditions (e.g. post-polio syndrome, or cerebral palsy in adults)
curious that it just says ME, not myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome CFS/ME etc.
as a lot of NHS healthcare professionals don't know what ME is.

It certainly would not come up on any search.
