#MillionsMissing today, 12 May - post news, tweets, etc. here

It's on channel 4 now
They've started featuring a severe in bed which is good. They're saying what's she waiting for ....

They now say we say it's underfunded, misunderstood and dismissed by NHS.

The severe girls mum is very good at blasting the patient blaming

Mentions the immune system, and our opinion standard treatments does more harm than good

Features the shoes as representing missing potential, poignant
Interviews now mother and dad of bedridden girl

DOH end with the joyful news of them investing and finding treatments (see other post of mine how this is misleading, back covering bullshit)

Happy ending with recovered endurance swimmer ??? (Who's idea?)

Generally Pretty good for us.

Weldone to all #ME activists involved today who got a lot the issues actually covered on national tv news
They also said that 'the government' have asked NICE to review the current guidelines.

Local newspaper in Stavanger, Norway about today's MillionsMissing event. Very nice article with lots of pictures from a large shoe installation, interviews with several people including professor Saugstad who says:

May 12th is the ME Awareness day. I have participated in this for several years in a row. Every year I say I hope it will be the last time such a day is necessary. I hope there will be a stop to ME patients noe being taken seriously by the health service and forced to undergo unnecessary alternative treatment attempts that have no proven effect.

Article is behind paywall.
Stavanger Aftenblad: Skoene til de som ikke kan være med

I'm watching the livestream from the San Francisco protest and Ron Davis starts somewhere around the 41 minute mark - very interesting, though my memory is too poor to tell you about it! He's saying a few things I don't remember him saying before.
