Thank you so much. This is much more my speed!
You are very welcome!
Can I ask how you did it, so that I might be able to do it myself in future?

If this is a frequent need for you, I'm sure there are much simpler workflows and someone in our community can help you out.
Are you on iOS or Android?

I think two pieces of third party software as essential for any personal computer. One is uBlock Origin
I can't second that strongly enough.

If you happen to read this and don't know what it is: it's an adblocker that will revolutionize your online experience.
The ad giants will have a harder time to spy on you and the websites you are going to visit will load faster and look much cleaner.

Thirding it strongly. uBlock not only blocks ads, but has a scripting component that can block all sorts of nuisance elements on a web page. I especially use it a lot for YouTube's continual new added annoyances, such as their recent decision to make the 'related videos' down the right-hand side of the page hideously enormous. With uBlock, you can reduce them down again. You can also remove the distracting 'New' icon YouTube has now suddenly added to the related videos. Their Reddit page is worth keeping an eye on: https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/

There is a forked version of uBlock Origin called uBlock Origin Lite developed by somebody else. Unlike the original it works on Safari browser (it is also available on the Apple app store).

I use UBO on Firefox, and UBO Lite on Safari.

Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be compatible with Ecosia on my phone – haven’t tried on my PC yet.

I could switch to Firefox but I like to use Ecosia as it gives all its profits to environmental causes.

Alem Matthees has joined Bluesky today.
From his Bluesky:
(1/3) Today, about one week into October, marks one year since slowly regaining the ability to read after several years of being unable to read at all. In the months leading up to that, I had been forming characters out of silicone putty for carers to write words on cards that I collected.

(2/3) I had to glimpse the cards to organise them. Then one day I did the unthinkable. I took a printout of the Wikipedia article on #MECFS and read a whole sentence. Later a whole paragraph, then another! My eyes hurt and my brain crashed, but after a week I read it all and started on DecodeME.

(3/3) By December after printouts I upgraded to smartphone on lowest brightness setting. Since then I have read a lot to catch up on everything that happened in the world in general, the ME/CFS community, and Australian politics between 2017-2025. Let me just finish by saying, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?
