Yeah, part of this problem in ME/CFS is that inflammation has become one of the big buzzwords across health generally in the last decade or so.

Not saying there is nothing to it, at least in some situations. But it has really captured the zeitgeist and bypassed people's critical faculties, including within the profession.

I have learnt to say "one working theory is inflammation"
