'The series of Continuing Medical Education events will start in early 2024 and educate primary care and specialist physicians. The audience will hear from prestigious national and local special guest speakers sharing enormous insights on cutting edge research, scientific innovation and experiential knowledge'

Who will these 'prestigious' special guest speakers be? So many grandiose words but so little actual detail.

What will the 'education' consist of??

This project seems to be a runaway train, supposedly for the benefit of ME sufferers, LC sufferers, etc but the instigator/driver of the project does not appear to be very transparent about hard details and so far has not listened to the actual patients/very experienced advocates. It appears to be an awful lot of marketing waffle but we still don't know, for example, what the 'education' will consist of.

My understanding is that the "Movie about M.E." documentary ( https://www.facebook.com/movieaboutME ) remains a work in progress; the short PSA (Public Service Announcement) film is still in storyboard form (webpage currently behind a log in and unavailable) and the "One Name Campaign" and its planned touring events has been scrapped in response to robust criticism of its aims, objectives and execution.

Now, Chesley is evidently working on a series of Continuing Medical Education events and seeking sponsors to facilitate this.

I note, this morning, that the Wix.com web space and "Banner for Awareness" message which replaced the One Name Campaign content in August ( Chesley's message in this post ) has now also been taken off line:

    https://www.bannerforawareness.com

    "Looks like this domain isn't
    connected to a website yet"

The only website which is currently accessible appears to be the https://www.doyouhaveme.com/ site with this new campaign ( on the site's Contact page ) about launching Continuing Medical Education events.

As @Chesley is a member of this forum perhaps she will provide more information about this latest project, for example, will these CME materials have accreditation or not; who are the national and local scientists and clinicians who will be informing these CME materials; who will be preparing and reviewing them etc.
